Executive Catering Chef

Gile comes to Fat Freddy’s Catering after more than ten years of working as a freelance traveling chef. His travels put him in the envious position to have worked with prominent caterers to cater such events as The Rose Bowl, Cirque de Soleil, The Ryder Cup, The Masters Golf Tournament, The Waste Management Golf Phoenix Open, The Olympic Games in Italy, China, Canada, Sochi, Rio and most recently the winter games in PyeongChang South Korea.

Gile has also held traditional positions as Executive Banquet Chef with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, The Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, and The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale. Additionally, he worked in the U.S. Virgin Islands at Caneel Bay Resort. Gile joined Fat Freddy’s Catering over five years ago and in that time he has had a tremendous impact on the variety and quality of our catered food. In addition to cooking and overseeing the catering staff, he is responsible for ensuring that we purchase only the best food ingredients with the highest nutritional values. Gile graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
